“REDUCE GENDER INEQUALITIES IN THE OCCUPIED PALESTINIAN TERRITORY. IT IS INTENDED TO HAVE AN IMPACT ESPECIALLY ON ADULT WOMEN AND YOUNG SURVIVORS OR THOSE AT RISK OF GBV IN GAZA AND AREA C.”

“Strengthening the Capacities of Women to exercise their active citizenship by reinforcing their role as advocacy agents in the promotion of their rights, the eradication of Gender-Based Violence and community protection in emergencies” is an initiative that is launched by the Palestine Information and Communication Technology incubator (PICTI) in partnership with Women’s Technical Affairs Committee (WATC), Alizana Por La Solidaridad (APS), Palestine Family Planning and Protection Association (PFPPA) and Culture & Free Thought Association (CFTA) in the frame of the project “Reducing Gender Inequalities in the Occupied Palestinian Territory” funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID).

The project partially focuses on strengthening capacities for the creation of economic initiatives for women in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

This designed-led initiative seeks to provide women entrepreneurs in the Information and Communication Technology sector with the support needed to strengthen their full potential and promote the sense of equality between women and men in Palestine.
