Gaza : In the framework of empowering women in the  ICT  sector  and  reducing the  barriers and  challenges  that  prevent  them  from gaining access to and participation in the digital revolution, PITA conducted a networking event in July. Networking meetings and knowledge sharing were held with West Bank institutions concerned with the development of the role of women In the community, especially the ICT community. This activity is part of GIZ’s Women Empowerment in the ICT Sector.
Through the representative of beta m. Islam Badwan and representative of the Forum for the Empowerment of Business Technology Women M. Shereen Al – Jaidi There have been at least 10 meetings in different institutions, many ideas for the ICT sector for women in the Gaza Strip, at least five organizations interested in the Women Empowerment Project, and many women with success stories have been nominated to join Women’s Conference to be held soon in the Gaza Strip.
