Gaza : Meeting Organized by the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology was held to discuss the graduates’ employment programs and tele-employment opportunities. The meeting was based on the importance of transforming temporary employment programs into development programs in order to sustain them.
For his part, a number of representatives of various institutions working in the field participated in their experiences in implementing the employment programs and initiatives for the empowerment of graduates in relation to employment opportunities. PITA participated in his experience in the employment of graduates in private sector companies, including one of the programs that were implemented in a different way and benefited about 50 graduates were screened on the private sector in the field of ICT for six months, 64% of them at the end of the temporary operation on contracts For a year and another 18% got a job opportunity remotely.
There was also a detailed discussion on telecommuting opportunities and employment initiatives to enable graduates in this field.
It is worth noting that a joint venture between PITA and the Ministry is currently being designed to run graduates in ICT companies.
